Evening in the Park… just Jenny, myself and the pups

We darted out for the last few hours of light in the Park. Overcast skies made for dramatic light as the sun’s rays poked through making rainbows and spotlight features of various ridges, plateaus and mountains. Took the pups out for our usual fetch’n’run this morning and as we walked up the driveway we were buzzed by a whole squadron of mini fighter jets… ones with orange breasts to be exact! Sounds of spring

Despite snow still darting back and forth, up and down the mountain sides, our spring visitors are coming back in small numbers and the residents are becoming more boisterous. American crows, aka ‘the other black bird’ can be heard now around the house. Song sparrows are making the willows along the creek bubble with sound, [...]
